We have had lots of laughs reliving your experiences in Greece. The narrow roads, mastering the art of car ferrying (that is a one in a million experience, Peter was lucky, he could usually understand what they were screaming about) you just have to laugh and go with it, but as you say, it works. We also got caught with that local ‘petrol like’ drink in Hydra from our accommodation hosts – I nearly died but the others drank it so as not to offend. They actually back up again the next night. You are making me exhausted just reading about your travels, but it sounds like a fabulous trip and it makes one eager to get back there next year. Keep enjoying yourselves – it really is a great country travel in. Narelle
Thanks Narelle…you’re right some of its hard work, especially with very limited understanding of their language. Although I DO understand when they are swearing at me! Haha. Growing up in Newtown does have its advantages.
